Action towards Decarbonisation
KC Maritime is proud to be the founder signatory of the GMF's call to “Action towards Decarbonisation”.
In meeting with Company's commitment to meet and exceed the Regulatory compliance, KC Maritime has met with all the IMO and National Regulatory compliance well in time. The Company was well ahead in the implementation of Ballast Water Treatment Systems at the building stage of its new vessels even before the Regulation came into force. With a sharp eye on fleet carbon emissions, KC Maritime, in cooperation with all its stakeholders, is determined to uphold the decarbonization strategy as envisioned by IMO and other Regulatory agencies.
Minimizing Carbon Footprint
KC Maritime also complied with IMO 2020 low sulphur fuel requirements well before the implementation with zero downtime on any of the vessels.
The Company has also been a front runner in assessing and evaluating all its ships for the EEXI and CII profile even as MEPC 76 was concluding the final amendments. It gives a clear edge to the Company in chalking out the way forward and implementing sustainable measures to remain compliant with IMO targets on Greenhouse Gas emissions.
