Shri
Kishinchand Chellaram (1880-1951)
Confucius
once said that "the inferior man understands what will sell; the superior man
understands what is right".
The
entrepreneurial genius of KC was not only that he built a successful
international business, but that he did so by making the commercial aspects
clearly subservient to the uncompromising set of values such as integrity,
treating people with respect and dignity, belief in building mutually rewarding
relationships, helping the community and balancing the interests of
stakeholders.
KC’s
thoughts have guided the work of the Kishinchand Chellaram Foundation which
today supports various programs that enhance the quality of life for the less
privileged community in India.
